Description
The SPROUTS pattern is one pattern to make every pair of shorts, leggings, pants, bubble shorts and more for little ones from birth to preschool! Bonus MODS section to add VINES suspenders, pockets, tabs and ties or inseam crotch snaps. Size range 000-4. Approximately newborn to 4-5yrs. Ample nappy room is included for disposable and most modern cloth nappies. For terry nappies or bulkier night nappies it is recommended to either size up & shorten the leg length to the smaller size using the included size adjustment instructions OR make from a stretchier fabric such as cotton lycra to accommodate the larger nappy options.

The SPROUTS pattern is designed to be able to MASH with the ZOO pattern (0000-4). Instructions are included in the MODS section of the SPROUTS pattern on how to attach your SPROUTS pants to a ZOO bodice. The ZOO pattern can be purchased separately.
Options
This pattern includes 6 base styles. The features can be mixed to create even more looks. There is a mixing guide included to make mixing easier.
- Twigs and Twiggies-lounge pants and shorts with a wide yoga waistband, straight boot-leg ankle fit and contrast cuffs that fold up/down to add length for growing. Designed for knit fabrics.
- Trees and Stumpies- Straight leg pants and shorts with elasticized waist featuring a flat front section and fold up/down cuffs that grow with your child. Designed for woven fabrics.
- Blossoms and Bloomies-High top paper bag style pants and shorts. Featuring a gathered hem finished with a solid leg band. Designed for woven fabrics.
- Bonus MODS section to add VINES suspenders, pockets, tabs and ties or inseam crotch snaps.
